An application to record person's health parameters with Fora d40
blood pressure and glucose measurement device connectivity.
Convinient way to keep track of your sensitive health parameters. User can enter measurements manually, with the health of 'drum' with values, or can choose to download the last measurement value from Fora d40 meter.
Now people with health concerns can get rid of paper forms and always have their health data with them.
User can analyse his health trends by viewing graph of his health parameter changes.
Physical Activity
University project for internal purposes.
Application record personal health parameters collected from external devices and uploads them online in real time. During the couse of the project, following devices were connected: Zephyr HRM, Ant+ HRM and Fora d40.
Data is collected in real-time from devices connected through bluetooth. According to the application configuration data is uploaded to a webserver using RESTful web service.
Life Journal
The tool for scientists to collect observations. Optimized for lengthy experiments.
Scientists collect observations, export them to the
phone's SD card and send them as email attachments.
The data is collected from different sensors
(e.g.
heartbeat monitor, accelerometer, gyroscope).
Five types of data can be viewed on 6 different time scales. Graphs are navigated with touch moves.
The application is designed to handle large quantities of digital data (10-30 MB, 120k -300 k observations).
Money Watch
Personal accounting for feature phones.Platform: J2ME
Developed with 3 principles in mind: information visualization, universal data format and user friendly interface. User has been enabled to record spendings and income instantly after they happen and not to bother storing paper receipts. Historical data was made easily accessible through 5 way navigation in at most 3 steps. To make better decisions, Money Watch provided user with analytic perspectives: income and spending split to categories, comparative analysis of trends and future forecast. Downloaded by more than 120.000 people around the world.
Hackathon Demo
During first Aalto Android Hackathon
we made an introduction on
Google Maps API in Android.
In the presentation we explained main classes in the API,
provided code samples for basic scenarios and gave
advises how to avoid common mistakes.
